Job Description:

SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist works with all levels of management to understand organizational and team structures, so as to seek and acquire talent in a timely manner. Acts as a recruitment liaison to hiring managers, developing creative sourcing plans for difficult to fill positions. Builds both active and passive candidate pools/pipelines using cost-effective and efficient sourcing techniques such as internet searches, cold calls, networking, social media, job fairs, college recruiting, etc. Understands the organizational culture and actively seeks industry knowledge to continue to remain educated on skillsets, standards and competition. Owns the employment life cycle, inclusive of posting, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and stay/exit interviews in order to obtain insight and knowledge of the organization's culture and human capital needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-- Provides administrative support to the HR team, while being responsible for the employee life cycle, consisting of: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, onboarding, stay and exit interviews, and other related functions.-- Supports the HR team with the management of multiple job requisitions on recruiting needs of all levels, including managing all external and internal job postings and communications.-- Responsible for research and sourcing of candidates by utilizing applicant tracking system and online recruiting job boards to identify prospective candidates.-- Supports hiring managers with interview process, testing if applicable and selection process.-- Prepares offer letters, agreements and any other documents relating to job offers. -- Maintains ADP applicant tracking system with candidate profiles, skillsets, dispositions, reporting and analysis as needed.-- Supports other areas of the organization with interviews of temporary and volunteer staff.-- Establishes and maintains relationships with leading colleges/universities, key contacts and relevant groups or associations. -- Attends or leads internship and career events and presentations at learning institutions, with or without a subject matter expert co-presenting to increase brand awareness and build candidate pipelines and opportunities.-- Conducts new hire orientations and coordinates processes in collaboration with hiring managers and other relevant departments in order to build-out a comprehensive onboarding process and experience for new hires, inclusive of mentor and/or buddy program.-- Other projects, as needed and/or assigned.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:-- This is not a supervisory position.
QUALIFICATIONS:-- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience. -- Must have 2-3 years' experience in recruiting, candidate sourcing, recruitment operations, human resources or related experience.-- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Software and Applicant Tracking Systems. ADP Talent Management preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:-- Excellent grammar and writing skills and strong interpersonal communication skills.-- Must have working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.-- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy, initiative and ability to make sound judgement and decisions when dealing with applicants and employees.-- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.-- Ability to work at fast pace, accurately processing large volume of data.-- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.-- Research and development skills preferred.-- Adept at working Cross Functionally.-- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff (from direct-service staff to Executive staff, community partners and vendors).-- Works well under pressure with a variety of deadlines.
