Description:Key Accountabilities Include:
- Strategically plan, develop, and implement organizational
policies and goals.
- Coordinate activities across departments such as operations,
sales, and international gateway to enhance operational efficiency
and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop sales priorities, targets, and business plans for
assigned trade lanes.
- Coordinate development opportunities between local and overseas
sales management.
- Contribute to annual trade lane budgeting.
- Lead local sales efforts by identifying opportunities,
launching and managing sales campaigns, and driving volume
initiatives.
- Provide sales tools like benchmarking and sales kits for
assigned lanes.
- Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert to sales
teams.
- Plan overseas visits and support international sales
efforts.
- Establish and agree on trade lane must-win customer lists with
sales and product teams; collaborate on pricing strategies.
- Manage pipeline size and success ratios on trade lanes.
- Interface with sales teams to focus on strategic relevance of
customers.
- Implement and utilize KPIs for operations monitoring.
- Achieve cost, productivity, and accuracy targets within
specified timelines.
- Review activity reports and operational data to identify
necessary changes or improvements.
- Implement and maintain operational processes, reporting on
performance and seeking continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and development to managers and
supervisors.
- Maintain performance metrics and analyze data for ongoing
improvements.
- Uphold SEKO's core values in all activities.
- Identify new markets to increase profitability.
- Ensure compliance with C-TPAT security standards.
- Participate in creating a safe and healthy workplace, adhering
to safety procedures, and cooperating with management on
legislative obligations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by
management.Requirements:
- Dynamic, client-facing business development executive with a
proven track record.
- Demonstrated success in sales growth and EBITDA
improvement.
- Minimum 10 years in a similar leadership role.
- Ability to manage P&L, TTM, and margins.
- Deep understanding of the Germany-US trade lane and Seko
products (AFR/OFR), with experience in trade lane management.
- Proficiency in leading remote and virtual teams.
- Strategic use of information assets.
- Self-motivated with collaborative skills across operations and
business functions.
- Innovative with technical solutions and strong people
management skills.
- Analytical skills with cost-benefit analysis and
decision-making expertise.
- Extensive international supply chain and forwarding
experience.
- Financial acumen regarding risk and return tradeoffs.
- Strategic thinker in a fast-changing environment, experienced
in technology-led transformations.
- Sound judgment with timely decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable
with client and executive interactions.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities with a
positive attitude.
- High professionalism and integrity.Education &
Experience:Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related
field.
- At least eight years of progressive experience, including four
in management.Preferred:
- Master's degree in Logistics, Business, or related field.SEKO
